some noble cultures

Last week I has been at Shebele Hotel to attend a Toast Master International’’s program. Toast master international is by the way an international Non-profit organization developing public speaking and leadership skills through practice and feedback in local clubs since 1924.

A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.
There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another’s presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success.
Meeting participants also give impromptu talks on assigned topics, conduct meetings and develop skills related to timekeeping, grammar and parliamentary procedure.
please try to be a member and participant for such a noble work every Wednesday at shebele hotel. Here in Ethiopia our culture and even our educational curriculum was not in the condition to promote such public speaking and leadership skill.
